Dear Seniors,
We have recruited an 'Electrician' on full time employment for our company. My Manager wants to give him a suitable designation but not as an 'Electrician' becoz as per the rules laid by our Management, we should not recruit an electrician for full time employment. but our office requirement is that we required a full time electrician to solve the EB problems that are faced very frequently. Kindly help me out with your suggestions.

Dear Divya,
Though Electrician is a technical profile and a skilled job. Hence, it should remain as it is. Still you wish to redesign the profile by giving a fancy term, you may designate him "Maintenance In-charge or Supervisor", "Maintenance Executive", "Technical Assistant", "Technician", "Facility Assistant" etc.
Warm regards,
