Can somone please tell me new Basic and DA in uttarakhand. here i attach a notification of new minimum wages can someone tell me is that is only basic rate or include DA.
please go throw the attached notification and help me.

Hi,

The above notification was issued by Ministry of Labour & Employment on dated 6th Mar'13. Vide notification the government with due consultation of state advisory board revised the rate of minimum wages in scheduled employment mentioned in annexure-1. The revised rates of minimum wages has been fixed at 203 point of All India consumer Index Series (200=100) which is average point for period Jan’12 to Jul’12.As per the notification any increase over and above point 203 shall be neutralized multiplying by Rs. 20/- per point and it shall be passed on w.e.f. April and October of each year considering the average AICPI of six month of preceding and current year.

The Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for the preceding year period Jul’12 to Dec’12 is likely to be announced by the state government very soon.The average point for the period Jul’12 to Dec’12 is 216. Hence an increase of 13 points shall be neutralized by multiplying with Rs. 20/- per point which shall effective from 1st April 2013.

In view of above facts and figures, VDA is likely to be announced Rs. 260/- w.e.f. 1st April 2013.

Notification for the same is being awaited from UK government.
