Dear all,

Just to share with those who are not aware - EDLI (Employee Deposit Linked Insurance) where the organization pays 0.51% of the basic salary along with PF for employee insurance. This can be shifted to an insurance company with at least 5-6 times more benefits at a lesser cost. This is approved by RPFC.

It's already incorporated under Section 17(2B) of the EPF & MP Act. If any employer or establishment provides better benefits to their employees in terms of accidents, then they can apply for an exemption under the act.
