1) is EPF deduction mandatory for all employees or can it be made voluntary to increase ones take home salary......?
2) is it mandatory to have same salary structure / breakup for all employees in company payroll......or employees can have different varying proportion of their salary as basic and rest as allowance......(Eg one gets 40% basic and 60% allowance and other gets 70% basic and 30 % allowance)
pls guide me...thanks

Hi,
The organisation which has 20 or more employees the PF is mandatory .
Regarding the salary structure it is advisable to keep same structure for
all employees to avoid discrimination and confusion .
Also minimum wages has to be taken into consideration .
