The first letter of each word represents the nine planets from the SUN in the following order:
Mercury, Venus,Earth, Mars, Jupiter,Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

As per a recent study Pluto is no longer a part of the Solar System.
( I may be corrected if is otherwise)
If Pluto is no longer there, then the Mnemonic would read
