Why you should have this doubt ? Every employee, to be taken on roll of an Establishment should be issued an Appointment Letter detailing necessary terms & conditions, irrespective of whether you are small, medium or large industry. If there is no Apptt. letter then how do U know him/her as an employee of that Estt. itself. There are many employers conduct their business or activities without issuing such letter, this is immaterial. U don't be carried away by these kinds of stray cases.
Incidentally why did U raise this query, what is the problem ?
