Hi Ashok,

Thank you for your input. I have checked, but I am not getting an idea about wages. All the information is about salary components. I want to understand the difference between the salary to be paid and the minimum wage components.

Dear All,

Minimum wages are notified from time to time by the State government. This consists of Basic Wages and DA (Special Allowance). The PF calculation will be based on these two basic components. Additionally, other allowances can be added such as HRA, Washing Allowances, and other allowances as deemed fit. This will be concluded as Gross Wages.

I hope things are clear now.

With Regards,

In Sudan, the components of the minimum wage are basic salary, cost of living allowance, and housing allowance based on 66%, 16%, and 18% of the minimum salary, respectively. The minimum wage is agreed upon by the government, employer union, and labor union, and it is adjusted from time to time.

Basic should not be less than the minimum wages prescribed by the government. HRA should be 33% of the basic salary, and conveyance should not exceed 800. Medical allowance should not exceed 1250. Other allowances may be added to complete the remaining salary.

Dear Member,

Mr. Sharma is correct and has clarified the point. The minimum wage directed by the state government should be maintained, and HRA (40% of Basic + DA) can be provided. Furthermore, various other allowances can be given such as Conveyance = 800, Education Allowance = 200, Medical = 12500 PA, etc.

Please let me know if further clarification is needed.

Best Regards.
