Sir,
As we are a part of the government organization and we have appointed clerks as office assistant (contractual)for our Senior & chief managers in our office and making them work done through that contract labour since 2 years. And now we want to stop the contract labours. So what are the steps we should take for closing this process, so that none of the contract labours should not go to labour court for giving them permanent jobs, if they go also they should not success in that.

If you have a contract with the contract labour supplier , then for stopping the same you have to revoke the contract with the contractor

Sir, how long can a fixed tenure be extended? Suppose it is initially for two years, then a one-year extension, and then another one-year extension with the employer stating no further extensions allowed. However, even then, a 6-month extension is granted, totaling 4 years and 6 months. Is this a camouflage? Could you provide me with complete details of the terms and conditions of the FTA? Thank you. It's urgent, please reply soon as the matter is under the high court.

Dear Sir,
We are approximately 1000 employees working on fixed-term contracts since 1996 and continue working on fixed contracts that are renewed every three years. We have all rendered our services without any breaks. Our company is a subsidiary of a reputed Public Sector undertaking of the Government of India.
Can we approach the labor court for permanency? What are the guidelines of the Supreme Court in this matter? Please suggest us.
Thank you,
Manoj
