Dear SSM,

I believe that if you use the Research button, you will obtain sufficient data on toolbox talks. In a nutshell, a toolbox talk is:

1. The talk is organized before starting the work.
2. All employees are informed about the hazards.
3. Everyone is instructed about the operational controls and PPEs to be used.
4. Suggestions from employees are also taken into consideration.
5. This is a brief meeting lasting 5 to 10 minutes at the workplace.
6. This practice has proven effective in reducing the severity and frequency rates of accidents.

Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir

At the start of work, workers are given a safety talk for 5 to 10 minutes regarding risks, safety norms, precautions/PPEs involved in the job so that accidents are avoided. The Shift-in-charge conducts the talk at the beginning of the shift.
