I am working in a bank and posted at controlling office. my profile is to consolidate many information. One of my senior is very irritating as he does nothing but intervene in every ones area of work and gives his useless ideas and wastes my time. As he is very senior to me i cant scold him but have to keep patience which is very tough.

It is very simple. Boss is always right in saying. Is ur bank is private or govt. If it is private say this work is as directed by him. If it is govt. U can say this work is as per procedure and this can't be done as his (boss) desire and work has to be finished as early as possible without much intervention of others wasteful ideas. Analytic approach is needed is this situation with talkativeness.
