Leadership is not magnetic personality — that can just as well be a glib tongue.
It is not ‘making friends and influencing people’ — that is flattery.
Leadership is lifting a person’s vision to high sights, the raising of a person’s performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.

The news is good to read.
We do not find bossess encouraging nowadays.
They want to grow themselves and become rich and reach high positions.
But after reading this article, I feel bossess should encourage their juniors and subordinates as work gets completed when everyone works together.

Good one Mr AVS.
It is heartening to see a quote by the doyen of Modern Management.
Yes as pointed out by our fellow readers,
nowadays the bosses are mostly selfish.
Enhancing a reportee's vision, performance and building his personality
calls for devoting time besides showing concern.
Development of a subordinate often remains in paper
and a year end exercise during Performance Review.
Perhaps we can all make a difference.
