Dear All, I have been working on a franchise model in the SS Fasteners industry, where I am assigned to develop a Training Program for Franchises. During my research, I have come across certain points that are quite important when developing such a program, such as:

1. Operational Manual
2. Training Module
3. Test for competence
Etc.

Here, I am facing difficulty in preparing the Operational Manual and identifying the concerned people (in-house) who can assist me in preparing it. The Operational Manual is said to have a core value in developing the Franchise Training Program. I seek assistance in delving into the details and addressing the highlighted question. Please help me solve this issue.

Operations Manual: Key Components

In the Operations Manual, you have to list out the sequence of operations. Within operations, identify how many departments, sections, and sub-sections there are. You need to sequence each activity accordingly.

Secondly, you need to list out daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual or any other activities.

In the Operations Manual, you need to clarify who will do what, what each position will do, where they will do it, how much they will do, and which resources they can consume, etc.

You will get support from the Ops Manager for the preparation of the Ops Manual.

Ok...

Thanks for the quick response. The points are quite educative. There are certain things that I understood, especially in Clarification one. They are:

1. **Who will do it?**
- Sales and Marketing Manager, Project Manager.

2. **What will that position do?**
- Business process information, Product portfolio, Sales Process, Brand Position, Branding, and Promotions, etc.

3. **Where will they be?**
- HQ or Onsite.

The points that need more clarification, which I am unable to understand, are:

1. **How much will they do?**

2. **Which resources do they consume?**
