Dear Seniors,

Please guide me on what I should do regarding the following matter. We have a consultant who takes care of everything related to PF for all employees in our organization. We receive a monthly challan to submit to the PF office every month.

THE ISSUE IS that from 2006 till 2011, he has not provided us with the annual PF Slip (Form 23). Every time he responds with "what can I do if the PF office is not providing it."

I am puzzled by how it can be possible that he has not received it from the PF office for the past five years. Please inform me about the procedure to obtain the PF slip from the regional office, including the required documents.

Your valuable guidance is eagerly awaited.

Thanks,
Ravita

Dear Mr. Murthi,

Thank you for the reply. We have submitted all the documents to the PF office through a consultant. The problem is that the Form 23, which we should receive annually, has not been received for the past 5 years.

My consultant says that if the PF office is not providing it to him, then how can he give it to us? I actually want to check whether he is lying or if this is true. How can I check this? Whom should I contact at the PF office regarding this matter?

If I were to face the same issue, at least I could convince the managers that the PF office is not being supportive. Please guide...

Thank you.

Hi,

In which RPFC is your PF account maintained, and how many employees are there in your organization? Please provide your PF code number and all the relevant details.

Dear Ravita,

Please provide the details to Murthy as mentioned above. He might have some good contacts and be able to help you. Otherwise, please forward a written complaint to the RPFC commissioner, mentioning the company details and Group No. in which your company file has been allotted. The Commissioner will certainly help you in sorting out the issue. At least in Kolkata, we are receiving this support from our SRO's.

I would suggest, please do not depend on a consultant and instead go directly to the PF office. They will help you. We have not received PF slips since 2003, but now with regular follow-ups and personal visits, everything has come online. As everything has gone online, you can do it on your own, without any consultant. Please take all the original documents from the consultant, which is very important.

As these days all compliance of pf department, has to be online. If you know your login id and password of your establishment, you can at least download last two years pf form 23 online.

Dear All,

Can anyone guide me in tracking our PF balance status as per the columns provided according to the EPFO site: KD/MAL/ESTABLISHMENT CODE/EXTENSION/Account No.? I don't understand what exactly goes in the Account Number.

Also, our consultant is not providing us the PF slip as he mentioned that everything has moved online, so the work is still in process and will be provided to us within a year. We have been registered with EPFO for a year now, so is it because of that he is not giving us the PF slip?

Please guide on the same.

Account Number refers to individual employees' account number, defined by the employer or, in your case, by your consultant.

Ask your consultant for your account number, so you can track your balance on the EPFO site.

Dear Ravita, Best way is to directly approach the concerned APFC, than he may guide you to the concerned clerk having your Company’s PF account.
