Dear Aanchal,
Kindly check the difference between a Show Cause and a Warning letter.
Show Cause - Given to a particular person based on a memo specifying misconduct related to Standing Orders and the section under which it is issued. A specific time is provided to provide a written explanation regarding the misconduct and why disciplinary action should not be taken.
Warning Letter - Issued based on a preliminary inquiry and when the explanation received in response to the Show Cause notice is unsatisfactory. If the misconduct is not of a major nature, a warning letter can be issued to prevent the repetition of similar misconduct in the future.
I hope the above information is clear to you!

(Fact Checked)-The difference between a show cause notice and a warning letter is that a show cause notice asks the employee to explain their actions, whereas a warning letter serves as a formal caution for misconduct. (1 Acknowledge point)
