It is mentioned as 10% of CTC (max) for tax exemption in the article but the cap is only 10% of basic+DA for tax saving.

Can you tell me if company / organisation not interested to open such account for employees, is it possible that one can open NPS account for himself.

That is possible, but I would like to know who is the nodal agency of NPS for helping the corporates for opening account for their employees...

Thru employer or ECS mode. The component opted for NPS will be deposited by the employer with the selected NPS managers, on your behalf. Pon
