This is to inform you that I have received a benefit in terms of the order of the Supreme Court of India passed in connection with Civil Writ No. 1022 of 1989. Wherein the Honorable Supreme Court passed an order upgrading the status of the U.D. Assts. as Group I, Group II, and Group III.
Accordingly, I have been appointed in Scale No. 10 from Scale No. 9 on and from 01.04.2003. Additionally, I have been promoted to Scale No. 12 on and from 01.05.2003. The pay fixation is attached for your perusal.
Now, the question is whether I am eligible to receive benefits under Rule 42A of WBSR.
