Dear Members,
I have created an attendance sheet that can be used in small firms or branch offices. The sheet is locked to preserve the formulas. On the first sheet, you can record attendance by providing the necessary details, and attendance will be marked twice a day - once on arrival and once on departure. The second sheet will automatically fill in to show you the details of leaves marked on the first sheet individually. Please let me know if anyone has any questions.
Thank you.

Namaste!!!
Greetings of the day!!!
This is really helpful, but what about latecomings or early goings? It would be great if you have such provisions also in the same sheet.
Thanks & Regards,

Dear Rashi,
Latecomings and early goings policies vary from company to company, which is why they can't be incorporated into a standard format. However, if you need any individual help with that, please email me at harpreet.walia@live.com with your policy, and I will try to include it in the sheet for you.
Thank you.

Ya i agree...actually our office timings are 10.30am to 6.30am, but even in our office der r staffs who come at 11.30am bt leave at 9 or 10pm. So, we can't mark them late.
Actaully, I have joined this orgainization a week back as an Administrator. Its a small architectural firm consisting of 13staffs and 3consultants.My role here is to handle the entire office, admin and hr. But they haven't given me a particular job profile as such. I have no idea of what my daily routine would be. When asked to my employer they replied that I am supposed to plan and work on my own.
Also, it’s a small non-private firm which has only 15employees so they do not have any HR Dept as such.
Hence, I have been asked to formulate new HR Policies, Rules & Regulations for the company.
They provide 15national holidays,Casual leaves-7 & Sick Leaves-8.
They do not have any provision of Provident Fund,Medical Insurance,LTA etc.
The employers are good but are very concerned about punctuality and discipline in the office & want me to improve the efficiency of the staff.
I worked a lot on this and have made some hr policies and circular for discipline.
Enclosed please find herewith the attachment of the same.
I will be highly obliged if I could get some suggestions for the same as to how can I improve and add value to this firm. Also, on my routine work.
Looking forward for your favourable reply.

Dear Rashi,
This is a good draft you have prepared. Only a few points need to be worked upon. Please discuss these with your company management as they are not compliant with legal standards.
1) Management cannot require employees to work for a period beyond the normal working hours without providing additional remuneration. If such extended hours are necessary, employees should be compensated at double the normal hourly rate.
2) When payment in lieu of notice is offered, whether by the Management or the employee, the notice pay should cover only the consolidated salary and should not include the cash equivalent of any perquisites, allowances, bonuses, etc. If an employee leaves the company without notice, the basic salary should be recovered.
Thank you.

It is a very useful sheet indeed. Can you please provide the password for sheet 2 as no changes are made there? Our company is a ceramic-based company, so only 3 paid holidays, 4 weekly offs, and 12 PLZ are allowed. Can you please help me with this sheet input?

Dear Members,
Please, I would really appreciate your help in determining who should bear the cost of an employee's training. Should the expenses be shared between the employer and employee? If so, what percentage should each party cover?
Thank you,
