[QUOTE=avinashevs;1779443]Dear All,

Why is liquid chlorine filled up to 80% of the total volume in a chlorine container?

Volume and Temperature Relationship:

The volume of liquid chlorine increases rapidly as its temperature rises. Chlorine confined in pipelines or containers that are subjected to a rising temperature increases in volume and pressure. Please refer to the temperature-density relation for liquid chlorine in the attached file.
