Dear All,

As I am working as a Sr. Manager - HR in a high voltage electrical insulator manufacturing company, in our unit there are more than 1000 company employees and 300 contract employees working. Our management wishes to introduce the SAP system. However, I don't have knowledge about SAP. My question is, is there any private institution that may teach SAP? How much does it cost and how long does it continue? Can anyone help?

Hi Shunmuga,

Yes, there are a lot of private institutes which can provide you SAP education. I recommend you go for SAP authorized education partners. Costs and time may vary according to your module. SAP has two modules: SAP functional and SAP technical. You can also join corporate training at SAP authorized education center at JKT SAP Academy.

JKT SAP Academy is a SAP authorized partner, and JKT Consulting Ltd is a SAP service and support provider company; both are subsidiaries of JK Technosoft Ltd - A JK Group Company.

Hi Shunmuga Sir,

If you wish to implement SAP in your organization, the best and cost-effective way is through hiring a SAP consultant with at least 8+ years of experience. This consultant should have hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation and integrating the HR module with all the other modules. Regarding SAP training, he might be helpful for you.

Naresh

Yes, SAP is basically used to optimize business and its lifecycle. For the manufacturing industry, SAP MM, SAP PP, and SAP FI modules are mostly used. SAP MM is for material management, SAP PP is for production and planning, and SAP FI is for managing accounts. Each SAP module has different transaction codes (T-codes), and you have to implement them logically.

When you are using SAP, it means you can track your production, supply chain lifecycle, and finances, etc., and it helps to increase business and relationships with customers.
