Generally the employer contribution and employee contribution to EPF will be 12% each. Upto a salary of Rs. 6500, the contribution is statutory and beyond Rs. 6500 it is optional. Out of the employer contribution 8.33% has to be remitted to Pension Fund.

please give me advise that if any one employee basic 7k but if he getting 5k in any one month according to working days in this condition will we calculate pf according to 6.5k or 5k and is voulantry contribution limit
