Hi Friends, I have a team of 35 accounts persons with two Assistant Managers. We operate in 12 locations in Delhi-NCR, with 2 persons employed as accounts person, cashier, and accountant at each location. At the Head Office, there are 10 accounts staff. Can any of my CITE HR friends provide me with an SOP or the format for all these accounts persons to track all kinds of accounting matters such as cash handling, bookkeeping, and their daily and monthly reporting to the Head Office? If any of my friends have such an SOP, please forward it to me. Thanks.

Dear Gaurav,

I handle consulting services to establish Performance Management System (PMS) in companies. Since the subject is close to my heart, I have downloaded the PA form that you have attached to your post.

Never mind my upfront feedback. However, for removing misconceptions, it is worthwhile. It appears that you have great confusion about the concepts of KPIs, KRAs, and JD. This problem is not just with you but with a large number of HR professionals. Unfortunately, you had passed off JD as the KPI.

Just recently, I have uploaded the "Sample KPI and KRA Manual." You may download it from the following link:

In the above link, you will find one more hyperlink. In this link, you will find a few more links. These are my replies on the subject of PMS, KPIs, KRAs, PAs, etc. Go through each link and educate yourself on these concepts.

When you attach the SMART principle to the KPIs, it becomes KRA. To understand the difference between the two, you may check out my following video:

My reply may sound gratuitous; nevertheless, it is in your interest!

Thanks,
