As the employees who are covered under ESI have the facility like sick leave, medical, and hospitalization benefits, you can extend that facility to the employees who are out of ESI coverage.
Provide sick leave facility and cover the employees under a health insurance policy. Normally, restrict the coverage to the employee, spouse, and children. Including parents would result in a very high premium. Additionally, ensure that all employees are covered under a Group Personal Accident Policy, which takes care of Workmen's compensation in case of accidents. You can reimburse up to Rs. 15,000 per annum to the employee as medical reimbursement, which is tax-exempted subject to the submission of bills.
Maternity leave and bonus are accounted for in the company's records.
Thanks and regards,
Kamesh

You can opt for a Group Mediclaim policy with tailor-made benefits with various sum insured. Always preferable are public sector companies like Oriental, United India, New India, and National.
The policy will run for one year, and this will take care of medical benefits for all your employees. If you want to extend support to their families, even dependents can be covered.
If you want to get more clarity, there are insurance brokers (authorized by IRDA) Insurance Regulatory Development Authority. A few names are INDIA INSURE, MARSH, ALMONDZ, AON GLOBAL, etc. Hope this will help.
