I am working as HR officer in Software Company. Employee strength is 21. Five employee (Basic+DA) Salary less than 6500/-. But they do not want to contribute in PF due to some personal problem. I want to know that employee is bound to pay PF or not? Or there is an option for PF excluding whose Basic + DA less than 6500..

Dear Ronnie, They have to be covered and required to contribute. No way to exclude them. Think of a new comer with less than 6500 and willing to contribute... With Warm regards, S.Sethupathy
