Dear members,
I urgently need your help. I require an Excel sheet with formulas for the automatic calculation of gross and CTC (Cost To Company) amounts. For example, if the gross amount is $12,000 and I input this value, the sheet should provide me with a breakdown. Similarly, if I want the same $12,000 breakup for the CTC, the sheet should show all the details.
Please reply promptly.
Thanks,
Lokesh

Hi,
Good morning, everyone. Can you please guide me on how to break down the annual CTC from gross? Kindly share the Excel sheet for reference.
Also, could you guide me on how to break down the annual CTC from ESI? Please provide the details in an Excel sheet format.
Thank you in advance.

Dear Mr. Shanu Dutta,
Thank you for the Salary Break Up Calculator. However, I had one doubt: is it right (legally) to show Employer Contribution to PF as part of an employee's Gross Salary? It is surely a "Cost to Company," but can it be shown as a deduction from the employee's gross, even if it is credited to him in the first place.
This question is purely from a legal point of view and not the general practice that seems to be followed everywhere. Will this structure stand the scrutiny of the law if, for any reason, this is produced and examined by a legal authority?
In the present Excel sheet, how will his payslip look like?
