In case of Stutory bonus you can not diiferentiate ( can not make 02 slabs) based on principle under Article 15 of Constitution of India.
Where the Statutory Bonus in not there you may make different slab as per your wish.

The Bonus payment is very sensitive issue.
But as per the act: the Bonus Payment and rules are as below:-
1) Bonus Should be calculate as from April to March of any year.
2) if a person joined in between, just calculate the = (salary/12)* No. of months working between April to March
3) Some companies have the Bonus is the Part of CTC of Employee.
If i am wrong anywhere please correct me.. will appreciate.

Dear All,
Now the days we are bonus calculating in CTC (cost to company) but before 4 to 5 years we calculated bonus behalf of the Company Profit which minimum 8.33% and Maximum 20% of Basic Rs. 3500 after completed financial year and reimbursed within 8 Month. This is actual reimbursement rule.
