To be clear about the MW in states its applicable only for schedule employments...all states have defined the category of jobs in the schedule...as per schedule and Skilled,unskilled ansd semiskilled the wages have been defined.

Hi Aarti Kamble, Minimum wages has to be followed by all companies / factories within jurisdictions of our country. It is statutory obligation, Labour department has classified employees in to High skilled, Skilled, Semi-Skilled and Unskilled categories. Depending on the cost price index numbers labour department will publish minimum wages Gazette for every six months that is April - September & October-March.
