TN Govt has not notified any minimum wages for textile industrial workmen so far and the industry has been included in the Schedule and the minimum wages will be notified in the TN Gazette. However minimum wages for Apprentices in the Textile industry has been notified during November 2008

Can national floor level wages be called as applicable wages for tamilnadu spinning industry's regular workers since minimum wages fixed only for apprentice categories? But the minimum wages fixed for the apprentice is more than the national floor level minimum wages. Kindly clarify.
