Now, Professional Tax in Bihar is applicable from September 2011. The slab is based on per year income:
Income PT Amount in Rs.
Up to 300,000 Rs. Nil
3 - 5 Lac Rs. 1,000
5-10 Lac Rs. 2,000
Above 10 Lac Rs. 2,500
