Hello Seniors,

I am currently working with a software firm in Mumbai, and I have a question regarding leave encashment on the salary slip. Can we include leave encashment details in the Salary Slip? For example, can we include the leave encashment details of 09-10 in the January 10 salary slip?

I would appreciate it if you could share your viewpoint on the above content.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Reshma No harm in showing leave encashment in salary slip. Do this if you are transferring the salary and encashment etc by way of bank transfer to the employee’s salary account.

Hi everyone,

I have been working with a small software company for the past 10 months as a PHP developer in NCR. I am receiving 12600 per month in cash, but the company does not provide any salary slip for the same. Although my offer letter contains salary components (Basic, HRA, DA, TA & special allowance, the sum is 12800 per month).

Now, I am looking for a job change. I have two queries:

1) Do companies give a salary slip for cash salary?
2) What should I do in this scenario?

Thanks in advance,

Since the leave encashments are part of taxable income, it is recommended to show it in payslips. Pon
