The Principle of Value Drivers is the same whether it is used in marketing or HR. For example, see http://hda.co.uk <link updated to site home> and Human Resources Department - Human Resources Department As a Profitability Factor found at Google. So, it is all a question of using the right terms to search the web.

Have a nice day.

Prashansa, Value drivers are similar to KRAs/KPIs. In PMS, value drivers are set and measured. In L&T, this practice is being followed. Pon

Value drivers are set in the fields of:

1. Financial - targets in value of production, sales, collection, etc. For higher levels - working capital, cash flow, Return on Capital Employed, Gross margin, etc.
2. Process - Operation target, Customer satisfaction, quality, safety, etc.
3. People - Training & development.

You may devise according to the line of your business.

Thank you very much for the immediate reply.

I am currently undertaking my internship in a well-known oil and gas organization in the HR Department in Oman. Therefore, I will need to determine the basic expectations for individuals based on their designation, evaluate their performance from last year, compare it with this year, and subsequently develop a training program, and so forth.

This entails verifying whether an individual is fulfilling the requirements outlined in the job description and meeting the targets set for them last year, and then establishing the targets for this year accordingly.

Does this accurately capture the process? Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Thanks once again.

This is an Australian organization. PDO is our client.

Can you help me to understand this: CVA – Cash Value Added (Take the performance period of one year into consideration, performance output at the end of the year minus output at the beginning of the year. Convert the residual performance into $ and ascertain the value.) How do I convert it into $?

Thank you.

I think your transactions are in OMR. In my knowledge, 2.6 USD = 1 OMR(fixed). I think OMR against USD is fixed and not fluctuating. Pon

The person allocated to a package/sub-package for completion/handling will have a financial value (a slice from the total package value). You have to measure the performance based on those values. It will be difficult to ascertain the financial value for support section staff.
