Dear sir
How do I know that whether the employer is contributing equal share of provident fund? because many of my collegues were telling that only 30% was contributed by the employer. My monthly provident fund deduction was Rs. 702/- and also I would like to know is there any other way where I can withdraw the PF amount without the signature of the employer?
Thanks in advance.

Dear Srinivas,
You can check your employer's contribution details in the Form 23 issued annually by the PF Organisation.
As 8.33% of 12% ie almost 70% of employer's contribution goes to EPS fund which will not be shown in this F/23. Only 3.67% of 12% ie 30% of your employer's share is shown in the annual statement, which please be noted.
You can withdraw the entire contributions without the signature of your last employer. You can apply with the signature of your bank Manager, or an MLA,etc., in the claim forms.

Dear Mr. Sethupathy,
I had a doubt about the employer PF contribution.
One of my friend recently joined 3months ago in MNC company. When he received his first month salary they have deducted the provident fund from him 2 times from his salary only.
According to this the employer did't contribute from their end.
Kindly please suggest us to know about the Provident fund act.
