First of all, ensure from management regarding appraisal due dates. If on a quarterly basis - 1st April, 1st July, 1st October, 1st January. If on a half-yearly basis - 1st April, 1st October. If on a yearly basis - 1st April.
Prepare appraisal forms for both Executive Grade and Manager Grade. Confirm with the concerned person for department-wise appraisal budget. Prepare an Excel sheet for employees who are to be appraised in a particular period. Start the process at least 45 days before the due appraisal date.

Can anyone tell me if our organization is a small one? We have around 200 employees, and I recently joined the HR department. My main Key Result Area (KRA) is to monitor other KRAs. Could you please suggest to me what the time period for monitoring KRAs and the method for performance appraisals should be? Can we maintain KRAs on a quarterly basis and performance appraisals on a yearly basis?
