Hi Pankaj, thank you. I understand, but both ESI contributions are deducted from employees' wages when I press F2. These two contributions are deducted from wages, but the total wage remains the same after the ESI contribution. Please tell me.
Thanks,

Dear Pankaj,
While appreciating your efforts, I want to educate you on two issues.
Exempted Employees and ESI Contributions
Firstly, employees whose average daily wages are less than Rs. 70 are known as exempted employees. For such employees, there is no need to pay 1.75%, but the employer's share of 4.75% should be deducted. This point was ignored while preparing your Excel sheet.
ESI Payment Process and System Updates
Secondly, due to recent computerization in ESI, paying the ESI through manual challans has been stopped. The calculation of the employees' share and employer's share will now be handled by the system. You only need to enter the number of days and wages paid to the employee to generate the challan, as payment through the system-generated challan is MANDATORY in ESI.
