Hi, How to calculate the income tax - period of months - like FEB to Mar or Mar to Feb ?

many companies, govt organisations calculate income tax from Mar to Feb, in Feb month all income tax is closed and finalized and march month salary is paid in april. So the salary of March 11 becomes the pay of FY 2011-12.
