We are a newly started company in Chennai. We have to pay professional tax collected from our employees' salary. What is the procedure to enroll us for professional tax? Whom should we contact regarding this?

Even I am worried as we started our company in April 2010 and still have not been paid, nor have we deducted professional tax from our employees. If any professional tax consultant is in Chennai, please get in touch with me via PM or email at ravi.exe@gmail.com.

If you are in the corporate office, please check your Corporation Office near Chennai Central Station or visit the Corporation Building office in Chennai to obtain Form-2.
If your factory is located in SIPCOT, kindly approach your village president, provide the details in the name of the village panchayat, and obtain a receipt.
