I am working with a mid sized retail company. We have a manpower mix of skilled and unskilled labours working with us. Our mgt has decided to re-structure the salary structure. I need the compartive study of the availing salary structre in the market.

It's nice to know that u have joined CiteHR, which is actually very helpful & informative site !
Since u r Delhi based, so for restructuring the Salary U have to take special care that it should be in line with the Currently prevailing rates as per the Minimum Wages Act applicable in Delhi state. For this U may get hold of the latest Delhi's Bare Act Booklet of this year for all types of rates applicable to unskilled, semiskilled & skilled workers in various types of industries. That rate chart is given which will help u as a guideline for your management to decide the new Salary structure above the Min. Wages rate to be on the Safer side.
Well, there is another important thing which i would like to share with u is that there is a meeting of CiteHR Delhi/NCR members being organised on 1st July07 (Sun) at 11:30 AM, Nirulas, CP, New Delhi., in which we expect that around more than 30 HR professionals of all level would be participating ! It will be nice if u also join there, as it will help u widen ur HR contact in Delhi/NCR. All u need to do is to call up Ms. Anupama Saini, another CiteHR member from East Delhi who is also actively coordinating for this meeting on her mobile no.- 9999804683 and get to know in detail about it.
