At present, I am preparing a presentation on Industrial Relations. Most probably, tomorrow I will post the thread, and you can learn about the majority of laws applicable, especially to Construction Sites.

Why not create a notebook of sorts on the computer for the important sections and laws that you think are useful in your daily routine? I had done that, and lately, they are at my fingertips now... so it's an easy way to remember.

Now that you are an employee, you need not memorize or reproduce sections of labor laws. The key is to read important sections of the labor laws, regardless of their immediate relevance, until you become familiar with them. Begin organizing and noting them in a notebook and make an effort to remember them. There are no easy ways or shortcuts. Over time, you will naturally become more acquainted with them.

Remember, the more you apply the laws, the more familiar they will become. Do not worry about the laws, but rather focus on analyzing the problem and practicing the application of the law accordingly. In due course, you will become an expert in labor law.

Wishing you the best of luck.

Hi Varsha,

Firstly, don't worry about that, be cool. The thing you have to do is to apply the read and rate mechanism. If you forget the year of the act, section of the act, etc., write it down. Please keep in mind that sections are not mandatory to write; if you remember, then it's advisable to write sections. When studying law (acts), please keep one notebook and whatever you read, write it down in the notebook. Make a comparative study between different acts. Things will be in your hands. Please recapitulate in your leisure time. Good luck.

Average person should know the basics. For advance, no need to remember. Just refer the bare tax book or search on google. Regards, Vinod Bidwaik
