Google
The name started as a joke boasting about the amount of information the search engine would be able to search. It was originally named 'Googol', a word for the number represented by 1 followed by 100 zeros. After founders - Stanford graduate students Sergey Brin and Larry Page presented their project to an angel investor, they received a cheque made out to 'Google'.

Yahoo Answers says: Google search algorithm is developed in C++? I am worst at the knowledge of IT, though (and I didn’t intend to do cheating, I was just too curious to know  ). -Latika

Hey Arpita,
There are loads of full forms of ADIDAS, some good and some bad. When I was in college, I used to think that the full form of ADIDAS was "All Day I Dream About S#*," but later on, I realized that Adidas was named after its founder, Adolf "Adi" Dassler. The question still remains, why did he select the letters in bold?
Thank you.
