You company must have the Salary Breakup Working Sheet, from there you can find out, if not in think is 50 of your gross salary.

Basic salary can be 40 to 50% of the gross salary. 10000/40*100=4000 that is your gross salary

it is very easy just set some percentage suppose 30% then 3000 will be your base otherwise if you want to keep high margin then take 60%. then ur base salary will be 6000. but keeping high base salary is cost to company. and loss to employee. so keep in mind be clever
