Hello,

Could someone please tell me how exactly I should go about analyzing the results of a Compensation Survey? Specifically, comparing how the base salaries and commissions paid by one company measure up against the rest of the market, and identifying which professions included in the survey are relevant to this one company before proceeding.

I have experience in conducting statistical analysis and using Excel, but not in this particular capacity.

Thanks.

What is your role and why do you want to analyze the results? Have you already collected the data; if so, have you tabulated it in Excel? Without knowing the nature of the company in question and the nature of companies from where you have collected the data, it is not possible to give you "sound" advice.

Have a nice day

I'll have more information when I actually start the job (in a couple of days), but could you give me some general advice for now? How should the final result of this analysis look, and what information should I look at?
