The application of Industrial Disputes Act is not limited to factories alone but it is applicable to service sector establishments also. However, ID Act is an Act which tells about the machinery to settle disputes. Only grievances which remains settled within the organisation will be redressed in forums like Conciliation Officer, Board of Conciliations, Labour Court or Tribunals. Therefore, you can have your own grievance handling procedure. If you browse through this site itself you will find a PPt on it. Please try that.
