Hello M,
Covering letter should be to the point and precise. Appropriate use of words. Include essential details and at right place and in right order. Give it a clear subject. It should have proper start and finish. After drafting go through it again which will provide you opportunity to make amendments and everytime if you can spare time write new letter rathar than saving it for future use. You will find new creations everytime. Keep reading samples on google as advised by John which will give you new ideas to create better quality every time.

In a cover letter you need to mention:
• The job or type of job for which you are applying
• Any other information that’s important to your situation – for example, dates when you will be available for an interview and salary information, if it has been requested
• A brief statement reflecting your skills and experience in your resume that you think; qualify you for the job….
Send me an email, so that I can forward you a sample of cover letter.
