I'm studying MBA and I want to do a project in HR. Yesterday I went to a company, and they gave me a project in HR. They asked me to submit a project proposal. I know only about the project proposal format, but I don't know how to make a proposal oriented towards HR.

Now, how can I frame my project? In what aspects can I cover the project?

What project did they give you in HR, which is a vast field? Do they have any problems that need solutions? Or do they have a problem that needs a study to identify the root cause or do they want to explore a certain area?

What do you mean by "know about project proposal format only, but I don't know how to make a proposal in HR oriented."? There is no difference in the format for a project proposal irrespective of the topic you choose. Thank you for your response. I inquired about the proposal, and they mentioned, "Implementing a new system within the company, as they are currently utilizing traditional methods. Therefore, I need to create a questionnaire for employees to assess how the new system will impact them."

I aim to design a comprehensive questionnaire covering various areas such as performance appraisal, employee engagement, culture, and politics. One of the key aspects I wish to explore is whether employees are in favor of adopting the new system.

Could you please provide some suggestions on creating the questionnaire?

Dear Vinoth,

Thanks for the info. When did they give this information? Why did you not mention what they said in your first message? Even now, what you have provided is not sufficient to guide you. For example, what do you (or they) mean by "Implementing a new system to the company, as they are currently following the traditional method? Could you create a questionnaire for employees to assess how well the new system impacts them?" How much time do you have? How large is the organization, and how many people are involved at different levels?

Do you not have a tutor or supervisor who is supposed to guide you? Where are you pursuing the course and in what mode? Please search the web to see if any similar studies have been reported and how they were conducted.
