Dear All,
Pls let me know the policy regarding the leave reimbursement during probation period. Suppose an employee has resigned during his probation period, will he get the reimbursement of his earned leaves or PL.
Thanks & Regards
Shyam

Under normal policy an employee becomes entitled to earned leave only after 12 months of service whereas probation may be for a period of six months or a year. If it is for a year then once he leaves after 12 months he can encash it, otherwise not.

Hello,
I joined a central govt Institute (covered by rules of DoPT). I joined on 14 Jan 2014 and resigned on 27 Jan 2015. Even though the probation was not formally declared to be over (as mentioned to be 1 year) I spent more time than 12 months. Am I eligible to claim EL encashment
Thanks.
