Dear All Senior,

Our company deals in electrical poles installation and electrical maintenance, but we have received a notice from the Labor Department, Samnath Marg, Delhi. They are stating in the letter that your workers should be registered in the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board. Is this applicable to our company? Please reply.

Dear Khola Sir, What are the formalities to cover an establishment in the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board, and what is the liability for the company?

If we have registered our employees under BOCW but have not covered our establishment under this act, is it correct or not?

Dear Khola,

I strongly believe that interior decoration is part of construction work. Interior decoration includes tiling, woodwork, painting, carpentry, etc.
