Hi Parnian
If you could be more specific as to your location and the time you can devote for the course... we would be in better position to guide you...
As there are lots of courses being run by various universities for various durations... Further, you can pick up some correspondence courses as well.

Hi Ajmal,
I am actually doing a research on the courses that should be offered to HR majors in MBA. For that, i want to get the feel of what the market wants. If people here could tell mne what kind of qualities they would want in an HR personnel, that would be great, since even though i am personally interviewing managers, it still takes a lot of time, nd i wanted to gather more opinions online.
Thanks for your help
regards

Hi Friends....
It's great to see you and meet you all.
Let me introduce myself, I am Naresh presently associated with Husys Consulting (www.husys.net) and it's great to inform you all that Husys Consulting is launching a one-year Human Resource Function Management program.
Yes, I do agree that an MBA from a top university is everyone's dream. But I definitely know you all know the efforts and pain for getting through the entrances and final admission. At the end of 2 years, you may get a placement depending on your ability. But the question is that so much effort is necessarily required for all these.
I believe it's like 3-4 years of effort we need to keep to get the placement. So why not look for something that's really worthwhile like the One Full-Time HR Management program run by Husys Consulting (www.husys.net), which is offering a unique program for graduates/people from the BPO/CALL Center industry to take up a one-year full-time Human Resource Management Program.
Here are some of the highlights of the program I came across:
* Experimental and Experiential Knowledge Sharing from Industry Experienced Professionals
* Mentorship by Practicing HR Professionals
* 4 months of intensive Training by Industry Professionals
* On-The-Job Deployment for 8 months
* Stipend during Deployment (based on Company Norms)
* Work Exposure to ERP (SAP, ORACLE APPS, Peoplesoft, and other Related ERPs) by Industry Experts
* Free Lunch and Snacks while in Husys Campus
* Free Assistance in getting accommodation in Hyderabad from Husys
I am sure this information will help you more in terms of deciding and helping your friends/relatives choose the right career for you to take up the program like this or wait 3-4 years to get placed.
Why wait? Call 9948078936/040-65195632 and know the details.

Hi,
One course I would recommend is PGCHRM offered by XLRI. Right now, the admissions are open. Check out their website www.xlri.ac.in. It is a satellite-based program with excellent inputs, and they make you work well.
Good luck! If you need more info, email me or call me.

Hello everyone, it's Sugandha.
I'm new to this forum and would request all of you to help me, please. I'm a science graduate and MBA in HR, currently working in an MNC as a recruiter. Please advise me on what HR certification courses (correspondence, of course, as I'm working) I can pursue. Can anyone please provide details about PHR/SPHR?
