My Salary is 12000 and PF slab decided by company is--780 for salary above 9500
So can anyone let me knw tht if we I take leave for one day does that AFFECT, PF amount for that month??
As someone told me that, PF for that month also changes even if the salary is for that month is 11600(excluding 1 day leave)???
Please revert....

Dear Aunja,
I assume this is your first Job.
PF is related with your basic i.e 12% of your basic.
Suppose your basic is Rs.9000 your PF contribution will be Rs.1080/month.
If you have taken leave but the leave was termed as without pay as no leave balances then salary for that month will certainly change which will effect the basic and ultimately your PF contribution also.
