Will the Amendment to Gratuity Act benefit the school teachers in the privately managed schools ? So far, most of these school managements do not give gratuity to the retiring teachers.

Yes, it is applicable to private school teachers. Affected teachers should approach the Assistant Labour Commissioner in their jurisdiction and file a case against the school management in the light of the amendment. Please email
