Sir,
In the PF Pension scheme the PF Department are asking for Age proof i.e school leaving certificate, Election card, Licence, But in some of the workers case they dont have any age proof,
What we have to do if Govt Certified Doctores issue any age proof is it valid or not ?
Pl advice,

As I understand they do not insist for age proof of the members and their spouse but they will ask for age proof of children only. This is because, pension is available to the member till his death and the same is the case with widow pension, but at the same time children pension is available only upto their attaining the age of 25 years.

While join EPF, member's age proof is required for various reasons.
1. Eligibility for superannuation pension on the base of 58 years completion. After that there will not be any contribution to pension fund.
2. Age for eligibility for minimum reduced pension is 50 years.
3. In case of pension availing before the age of 58 years, 4% will be reduced on pensionable amount for each year below 58 years.
