Dear all, Can anyone help me with the calculation of Maternity benefit for an employee who draws a gross earning of Rs.8949/- p.m. Regards, Vinodini

Dear Vinodini,
We are to grant maternity benefit ( leaves) for six weeks before & six weeks after the date of delivery @ this gross salary. If pre-natal & post natal care is not provided to the woman then we are also to pay Rs. 1000/- as medical bonus.

Thanks Mr. Khola... but I need to know the amount which would be paid to her as Maternity benefit on the basis of her gross earnings.
